It is important that the tender and appointment process takes proper account of the required qualifications, competencies, insurance cover, and arrangements for health & safety.
Working from our own tree surveys or other recommendations, we are able to produce detailed and clear tree works schedules and undertake a full tree works tender process. We have a small group of partnered tree works contractors that we trust to undertake tree works in accordance with best practice and all relevant health & safety and wildlife legislation, but we are equally happy to research local or otherwise recommended contractors to provide a selection of quotations for consideration. Depending on the works required, the tender process may include pre-quote site meetings with contractors to clearly outline the specification and discuss any constraints, potentially reducing costs and avoiding issues at later stages.
Once a competitive quote is chosen, we can then supervise contractors on site to ensure the works are conducted efficiently and to a good standard. Our team have significant experience of both undertaking tree works themselves and supervising site personnel, and are able to make appropriate and practical decisions to deal with arising issues or concerns during works.
Finally, after tree works are complete, we can attend the site and review the completed works to ensure they accord with the initial specification, providing a final report to confirm satisfactory completion of all specified actions.
